A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear Students, Families, Friends and Donors,
Words cannot describe all the wonderful emotions I am feeling. This year’s production of “The Nutcracker” exceeded my expectations on every level. We all know it has been a rough year. Dealing with all the protocols and guidelines was very difficult and yet we all pulled through.

Thank you to everyone who attended the performance at the theatre or joining online with the live stream. This year's production was fabulous. All the positive feedback has been overwhelming.

I am so happy with all my dancers. They all did a an extraordinary job performing. Their talent, commitment, desire and personal growth is great to see everyday!

It takes a lot of work to put together a production of this size. From rehearsals to the load-in, run of the show and especially the load out, so many people came forward to volunteer. They were all so giving and generous with their time to help while making sure “The Nutcracker” was as great as it was. There are so many wonderful people to include.

Thank you to all the volunteers (including staff) who have generously given their time to help make the production possible: Jessie Betancourt, Erika Bliss, Cristina Ciolacu, Erika DeOreo, Briana Dipierro, Kristin Finley, Jodi Flanigan, Dina Fleck, Micheline Giovani, Angela Gutierrez, Levonda Harris, Christi Keavy, Molly Kimmerling, Reilly Kimmerling, Roxy King-Currann, Krystle Little, Steve Luxton, Julie Luxton, Jeanette Medina, Ashley Napier.

Thank you to all the mothers involved with the massive job of costuming. They wish to remain anonymous but give unconditionally of their time, talents and skills. Thank you Emily Schubert for everything including all the rehearsals, and all her extra help and organizing backstage with the younger children. Thank you James Nobel for his help before and during the show, and then staying afterwards helping with the load-out. Thank you Christi Keavy for monitoring check-in and out at the theatre. Thank you Liana Damiano for her help with music and sound. Thank you Jane Pasley for Mother Ginger’s wig and Clara’s hair.

To all the following people who stayed and helped me and my staff after the last performance on Sunday night: Thank you Julie Luxton and Steve Luxton for set repairs and decor, set transportation, and staying for the load-out. Thank you Julie Luxton for photographing all the theatre rehearsals. Thank you to Will Linn for “managing” Mother Ginger, last minute costume repairs and alterations, quick changes, and staying afterwards for the load-out. Thank you Joseph J. Bucheck III for his help at the studio and photographing the rehearsals, and staying after the last performance while helping with the load-out.

Karen Manucy does so much for Paris Ballet and Dance. Thank you so much for all her extra time, organizational skills and complete devotion.

A very special thank you to Tangi Colombel for helping with the load-in, ushering and handling front-of-house and afterwards, with the load out including managing the truck during the load-in and the load-out, reloading it and driving it back to the studio to unload it.

Thank You Carla Crawley for her generous donation to Paris Ballet Conservatory in honor of Marie Hale.

Winter Break starts next week on December 19th, 2020. February is our next production, so get ready!

In the meantime let us keep doing all the right things to remain safe and healthy.Together we all make a difference.

With much love and sincerity,
Jean-Hugues Feray
Founder and Director of Paris Ballet and Dance, and Paris Ballet Conservatory

A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Dear Students and Families,

It certainly has been a tough year. All of you have been doing the right thing while using plain common sense with isolating, proper social distancing, wearing masks, and constantly washing hands and trying to keep sanitized. It is nice to be responsible and help limit the |spread of the virus in any way we can.

From the beginning and during this “ordeal,” I would like to thank all of you for working so hard taking the
Studio's Zoom Classes, my weekly free International Ballet Class Series which I provided on Instagram,  private classes and now, during the Summer Courses. It means so much to witness your diligence, hard work and dedication. I also completely understand the reservations one may have with sending their children to participate in a class with others or trying to handle the financial obligations of taking care of their daily living necessities.

With Online Open Registration going on right now and |classes starting on September 1, 2020, please rest
assured that my staff and I have done everything possible to keep you and your families as safe as possible while following all the guidelines and restrictions set forth, and will continue to do so as long as necessary. As I reported before, I have also scheduled the studio to be professionally sanitized every month for an entire year. This of course, is above and beyond the daily deep cleaning that was taking place before the pandemic.

Thank you very much for your support and your trust in me. My staff and I at Paris Ballet and Dance, and Paris Ballet Conservatory is very much honored, and appreciates it! I love and care about each and everyone of you.

This pandemic will not stop the joy and passion of dance! It’s going to be a great new dance year. Let us keep making a difference!

Sincerely,
Jean-Hugues Feray
Founder and Director Paris Ballet and Dance, and Paris Ballet Conservatory
